324 bus route between Stanmore and Brent Cross is now in full swing

Last Saturday (23 October) saw the start of a new bus route, which aims to provide a convenient link between Stanmore and Brent Cross.

The 324 service runs between Stanmore Station and Brent Cross Tesco, and serves Stanmore Broadway, Old Church Lane, Abercorn Road, St Andrew’s Drive, Culver Grove and Colindeep Lane.

It also serves Kingsbury and Hendon Central Stations.

The single-decker buses operate as ‘hail and ride’ services – users can flag down the bus when they wish to board, and it will stop at a safe point nearby. Passengers must ring the bell when they wish to alight.

The service operates daily, every 20 minutes during the day and every 30 minutes in the evenings.

The first bus is at approximately 5.20am and the last service is at about 12.15am.

Councillor Jim Moher, Lead Member for Highways and Transportation for Brent Council said: “We hope travel will now be made easier for residents living in parts of Stanmore and Queensbury, not previously served by a bus route.”
